Christina Zafirakis, a natural born executive leader with a diverse background in event production, tourism, Web3, and digital entertainment, has built an impressive career fueled by her Greek heritage and early exposure to the industry through her entrepreneur father. Her education in political science, psychology, and music at Juilliard and passion for foreign languages has shaped her unique approach to business.
Desiring to broaden her horizons, she accepted a position at Liberty International, one of the top privately owned Destination Management Companies, where she rose to become CEO and Managing Director of Liberty Greece and Cyprus.
Her passion for event production led her to join forces with her sister in Greece and become a big part in shaping one of Europe’s leading event production companies, Proelectro, as Creative Director and Director of Sales where she leveraged the latest technology trends such as 3d mapping, holography, interactive projections, mixed reality among other technologies, using these means to manifest memorable experiences for a plethora of prestigious events and
to deliver unforgettable experiences for top pharmaceutical companies and renowned clients.
In search of a new challenge, Christina joined VulcanForged, a Web3 Game studio and blockchain gaming ecosystem with a L1 network as Managing Director. Here, she collaborated with iconic brands like Karl Lagerfeld and DKNY to create successful metaverse experiences and raise awareness about Web3 technologies.
Now, as COO of MYTH, Christina is currently shaping a new Web3 Ecosystem, contributing to the companies evolution into a comprehensive hub for digital entertainment, metaverse experiences utilising AI technologies, and game development including its own NFT market place and launchpad. Passionate about nurturing local talent, she’s committed to reviving Greece’s legacy in technology and envisions a future where Greece is recognized as a cradle for Web3 development.
