Athanasios Ellis is Editor in Chief of Kathimerini English Edition, published in Greece and Cyprus along with the New York Times as a single paper.
For many years Washington correspondent for Kathimerini as well as for television and radio, he has interviewed numerous foreign leaders and heads of international institutions, among them Biden, Macron, Sarkozy, Erdogan, Gul, Davutoglu, Junker, Barroso, Georgieva, Lagarde and Strauss Khan.
He has often appeared on international media to analyze issues relating to Greece.
He studied at Boston University, where he got a B.A. in Economics and Political Science and a M.A. in International Relations.
